Remove first ‘In Stock’ message

Q: I am going to use variable products and I would like to have only one ‘In Stock’ message on the screen – the one for each product variation. Is there a way to remove the first one (annotated with arrow) so I don’t have both glaring as ‘In Stock’ or one saying ‘In Stock’ while the other says ‘Out of Stock’?

A: Add below snippet to your themes functions.php. It removes the existing code and adds your own in its place which is identical apart from there is no “In Stock / Out of Stock” message at the top.
