Charging vendors and/or a monthly payment system

Q: I want to charge vendors who want to sign up as vendors and get a once-off payment and/or a monthly payment system. Can this be done?

A: You can combine Product Vendors and Subscriptions Jigoshop Extensions together. You can set them as a vendor or set a user as a subscriber. You can let them buy a subscription via the shop then after they’ve done that let them become a vendor. But it would need two different accounts. A subscriber account and a vendor account you can’t merge them together.
