For the Product Add-Ons extension to function, you’ll need to have installed at minimum Jigoshop version 1.2.3, which is available to download via your WordPress Admin Dashboard if you have Jigoshop already installed or from WordPress.org if you prefer to install the update manually.

Best way to add optional upgraded packaging

Q: A client wants to offer a special packaging available for $2 for most items in her store. What is the best/easiest way to set this up? Currently we have it as an attribute, but we want it as an optional attribute – I don’t want users to have to select “No special packaging” before seeing the Add to Cart. Is there any way to either a) make the attribute selection optional and have the Add to Cart always on the page or b) add a checkbox/radio for users to select upgrade packaging?

Adding a blank from or file to the purchase

Q: I have a product that when people purchase it, they need to attach to it text with greetings.
How can I configure it that when people make a purchase, they will have a blank form where they can write the text? If it’s impossible, they can attache it as text file or something.

A: You can use our extension https://jigoshop.com/product/jigoshop-product-add-ons/ to add custom fields for the customer to fill out upon purchasing the product. You can also define the input text to be shown at specific products and you can change the label & add a placeholder text.
