Jigoshop Add To Cart Ajax Validation

The Add To Cart AJAX Validation extension adds a real-time update to stock availability when customers try to ‘Add To Cart’.

As default, Jigoshop will hide the ‘Add To Cart’ button when a product isn’t available, such as when it’s out of stock. But if another customer is already on the product page and doesn’t refresh, the button status won’t change, and they won’t be notified the product isn’t available until they are in the checkout process, which could lead to disappointed customers.

This extension automatically configures itself to display when a product isn’t available via a convenient AJAX popup, allowing customers to stay on the product page and hopefully use Related Products etc to find a suitable alternative.

It also builds on the Product Add-Ons Premium extension by alerting customers if they haven’t completed a necessary selection when buying a product.
