Getting Started Guide

1. Basic functionality

   1.1 Installing WordPress

   Before installing familiarize yourself with hosting requirements.

   This installation takes only four easy steps. Let us begin.

   • Choose a language you want to operate in:

   

   • Fill in the required information…

   

   • …and click the install button at the bottom of the page.
   • The following message should be displayed. Click the “Log in” button…

   

   • …and you are ready to go. Check the “Remember Me” box if you want your password to be saved and click the “Log in” button again.

   

   1.2 Installing Jigoshop plugin

   After login in WordPress you will see the following page:

   

   Click on the “Plugins” in the menu on the left hand side of the screen. You will be transferred to the Plugins page where you should click “Add new” button on the top of the page:

   

   Next step requires typing “jigoshop” in the “Search plugins” box in the right-hand upper corner of the page and hitting enter:

   

   Jigoshop will be the first plugin on the list. Simply click the “Install Now” button, after a few seconds you will see the following information:

   

   Click the “Activate Plugins” command under the install information and refresh the page. The menu will change and you will gain access to more options in the menu, namely Jigoshop, Products and Orders:

   

   Now you are ready to start setting up your shop by adding products, themes, choosing settings which suit you, manage orders etc.

2. Shop Settings

   2.1 Shop tab

   Click the Jigoshop button in the menu on the left of the screen, and then click Settings. You will be transferred to the following screen. In this tab you have access to options such as invoicing and permalinks.

   2.1.1 Shop Option

   

   • Choose a country your business is located in.
   • Choose a default country/region for new customers’ accounts.
   • Choose the currency you want the payments to be made in.
   • Choose countries you can ship to.
   • Check the box if you want a banner displaying information that the shop is in a test mode.

   2.1.2 Invoicing

   

   • Fill in the box if you want your company name printed out on your invoice emails.
   • Fill in the box if you want your tax number printed out on your invoice emails.
   • Fill in the box if you want your address printed out on your invoice emails.
   • Fill in the box if you want your address printed out on your invoice emails.Note: This address is displayed only when box No. 3 is filled
   • Fill in the box if you want your company phone number printed out on your invoice emails.
   • Fill in the box if you want your company email printed out on your invoice emails.

   In order to disable the six abovementioned options just leave them blank.

   2.1.3 Permalinks

   

   • Let’s say we have a product called “The Greatest Book” placed in category “Books”. Our shop can be accessed at website.com/shop/ Prepend shop categories with base page – if you enabled it by checking the box, the link to the Books category will be mywebsite.com/shop/product-category/books. If you disabled the option the link will be mywebsite.com/product-category/books. The same logic applies to the other two options.
   • A URL slug for product categories. If set to “category” the link will be mywebsite.com/shop/category/books.
   • A URL slug for product tags. If set to “tags” the link will be mywebsite.com/shop/tags/books.

   After choosing all the options you want simply click the Save Shop Changes button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

   2.2 General tab

   Click the General tab at the top of the page to move to the General options. In this tab you have access to options like what happens after adding a product to a cart, checkout page options or Jigoshop message.

   2.2.1 General Options

   

   

   • Fill in the box with the address you want to use to receive all Jigoshop related emails. Note: It may be different than the company email in the Invoicing options point 6.
   • Check the box if you want “Return to Shop” button displayed on the Cart page.
   • Check the circle next to whichever action you want to happen after a client clicks the Add to Cart button.
   • Check the box if you want “Pending Orders” changed into “On Hold” after a month.
   • Check the box if you want “Processing Orders” changed into “Completed” after one month.
   • Check the box if you don’t want guests purchasing downloads.
   • Check the box if you want to disable Jigoshop fronted .css.
   • Check the box if you want to include extra theme styles with jigoshop fronted .css.
   • Check the box if you want to disable bundled Lightbox.

   2.2.2 Jigoshop messages

   

   • Double click the box if you want to change the number of milliseconds a message will be displayed. Note: Change to “0” if you want the message to be kept displaying.
   • Double click the box if you want to change the number of milliseconds an error will be displayed. Note: Change to “0” if you want the error to be kept displaying.

   2.2.3 Checkout page

   

   • Check the box if you want to force proper post codes entries.
   • Check the box if you want a “verify information message” displayed in the Checkout before a client places an order.
   • Check the box if you want a message – informing a customer that EU VAT will not be removes until the order is placed and they have provided a valid EU VAT number – displayed at the bottom of the Checkout.
   • Check the box if you do not require registering or signing for making purchases.
   • Check the box if you want to force SSL on Checkout.

   2.2.4 Integration

   

   • Fill the box with your ShareThis publisher ID if you want to use ShareThis widget.
   • Fill the box with your Google Analytics ID if you want to use their service.
   • Check the box if you want to enable eCommerce Tracking.

   After choosing all the options you want simply click the Save General Changes button on the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

   2.3 Pages tab

   Click the Pages tab at the top of the page to move to the Pages options. In this tab you have access to configuration of pages on your shop site.

   2.3.1 Page configuration

   

   This page allows you to assign Jigoshop functional pages to actual pages at your site (please remember that these sites also need to have shortcodes to be working). Note: No changes are required.

   After choosing the options you want simply click the Save Pages Changes button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

   2.4 Catalog and Pricing tab

   Click the Catalog and Pricing tab at the top of the page to move to the Catalog and Pricing options. In this tab you have access to detailed catalog options; you may choose sorting direction, products per page or row etc. as well as the way of displaying prices on your site.

   2.4.1 Catalog Options

   

   • Choose the base page of your shop by clicking on the box if you want it to be something different than the Shop page, otherwise leave the default Shop.
   • Choose the page your clients get redirected to after clicking buttons like “Return to Shop” or “Continue Shopping” by clicking on the box. Change only if you want your clients to be redirected somewhere else than the Shop page.
   • Choose which button will be displayed on the Shop and Category product listings by checking the circle next to it.
   • Choose the sorting by which the products will be displayed by checking the circle next to it.
   • Choose the products sorting order by checking the circle next to it.
   • Choose the number of products displayed in a row on the Shop, Category and tags pages. If you want to change the default simply click the box and enter a number chosen by you.
   • Choose the number of products displayed on the Shop, Category and tags pages. The bigger the number the less need for clicking next/previous page buttons. If you want to change the default simply click the box and enter a number chosen by you.

   2.4.2 Pricing Options

   

   • Choose the mode of currency displayed in your shop. If you want to change the default “0.00” simply unroll the list by clicking on the box and choose the mode you want.
   • Choose the thousand separator of your prices. If you want to change the default “,” click on the box and enter a separator of your choosing.
   • Choose the decimal separator of your prices. If you want to change the default “.” click on the box and enter a separator of your choosing.
   • Choose the number of decimal points displayed on the product page. If you want to change the default click on the box and enter a number of your choosing.

   After choosing all the options you want simply click the Save Catalog and Pricing Changes button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

   2.5 Images tab

   Click the Images tab at the top of the page to move to the Images options. In this tab you can change the sizes of images displayed on your page.

   2.5.1 Cropping and Image Sizes

   

   

   There is no need to change anything in these options however if you want to simply check the boxes next to the options you are interested in and double click the boxes to enter sizes you want your images to have.

   After choosing all the options you want simply click the Save Images Changes button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

   2.6 Products and Inventory tab

   Click the Products and Inventory tab at the top of the page to move to the Products and Inventory options. In this tab you have access to stock options, weight and dimensions units etc.

   2.6.1 Product Options

   

   • Unchecking the first box will give products an SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) of their post ID. Unchecking the second box will disable the weight field.
   • Choose the weight unit suitable for your purpose by checking the circle next to it. Uncheck the box to disable product dimensions.
   • Choose the dimension unit suitable for your purpose by checking the circle next to it.
   • Choose the number of thumbnail images displayed in a row on a Single Product page. If you want to change the default click on the box and enter a number of your choosing.
   • Uncheck the box if you don’t want related products displayed on a Single Product page.

   2.6.2 Inventory Options

   

   • Uncheck the box if you don’t want to manage stock on a per-item basis.
   • Uncheck the box if you don’t want clients to see the amount of products in available. Uncheck the second box if you don’t want to be notified on low stock.
   • If you choose to be notified on low stock this box displays the low stock threshold. To change the number simply double click the box and enter the number which suits your needs. Uncheck the box if you don’t want to be notified on out of stock products.
   • If you choose to be notified on out of stock products this box displays the out of stock threshold. To change the number simply double click the box and enter the number which suits your needs.
   • Check the box if you want to hide the out of stock products on the Catalog and Shop pages.

   After choosing all the options you want simply click the Save Products and Inventory Changes button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

   2.7 Tax tab

   Click the Tax tab at the top of the page to move to the Tax options. In this tab you may choose the country on which to base the taxes on, additional tax classes, tax rates etc.

   2.7.1 Tax Options

   

   

   • Uncheck the box if you exclusively sell non-taxable items. After doing so you can ignore the rest of the options.
   • If you want the taxes to be calculated before coupons uncheck the box.
   • Uncheck the box if you don’t want prices on the Shop, Category and Product pages to include tax. Note: Prices on the Cart, Checkout, Emails and Final Orders are always displayed without tax.
   • By clicking on the box you choose the country on which the taxes are based (either billing or shipping address).
   • Depending on country regulations and products offered there are different VAT tax classes available. The UK for example allows:
     • Standard: 20% – Most goods and services
     • Reduced : 5% – Some goods and services, e.g. children’s car seats and home energy
     • Zero: 0% – Zero-rated goods and services, e.g. most food and children’s clothes.
   • By setting up tax rules a user can define which country it applies to and what the actual tax rate is. To see an example go to: awesomescreenshot.com/0773r5zp2b

   The standard tax rate of 20% applies to UK, all US states and all EU countries.

   In the same way another tax rule can be set up for the same countries and then during product configuration user can choose which rate to apply. To see an example go to:

   After choosing the options you want simply click the SaveTax Changes button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

   2.8 Shipping tab

   Click the Shipping tab at the top of the page to move to the Shipping options. In this tab you can enable or disable different shipping methods as well as customize them.

   2.8.1 Shipping Options

   

   • Uncheck the box if you don’t ship products.
   • Uncheck the box if you don’t want a shipping calculator to be displayed on the Cart page.
   • Check the box if you want to ship exclusively to the billing address.
   • Check the box if you want Shipping Fields always displayed on the Checkout page

   2.8.2 Flat Rates options

   

   • Uncheck the box if you don’t want to use Flat Rates.
   • The box shows the name of the method a client sees during checkout. To change the name triple click on the box and enter a chosen name.
   • Choose the type of flat rate by clicking on the circle next to it.
   • Choose the tax status by clicking on the circle next to it.
   • Double click on the box to enter an amount. Note: Excluding tax.
   • Click the box and enter the amount of handling fee. Note: To disable leave it blank.
   • Click the box if you want to choose specific countries.

   2.8.3 Free Shipping options

   

   • Check the box if you want to enable free shipping.
   • The box shows the name of the method a client sees during checkout. To change the name triple click on the box and enter a chosen name.
   • Double click the box to enter a sum a client has to spend before receiving free shipping. Leave it blank to disable.
   • Click the box if you want to choose specific countries

   2.8.4 Local pickup options

   

   • Check the box if you want to enable Local pickup.
   • The box shows the name of the method a client sees during checkout. To change the name triple click on the box and enter a chosen name.
   • Click the box if you want to choose specific countries.

   After choosing the options you want simply click the SaveShipping Changes button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

   2.9 Payment Gateways tab

   Click the Payment Gateways tab at the top of the page to move to the Payment Gateways options. In this tab you can enable or disable different payment gateways as well as customize them.

   2.9.1 Default Gateway choosing screen

   

   • Click the box to choose which gateway appears first in the Payment Methods list. Note: Only enabled gateways will appear.

   2.9.2WorldPay options

   

   

   Follow the instructions to get Preferential Jigoshop Partner Rates.

   • Check the box to enable Worldpay.
   • The name of the method a client sees during checkout and appears as the Payment Method on final orders. To change the name triple click the box and enter a chosen name.
   • The description a client sees during checkout. To change the description triple click the box and enter a chosen one.
   • Check the box to enable WorldPay Test Mode
   • Click the box to enter WorldPay Installation ID
   • Click the box to enter Payment Response Password, and then follow the instructions which will be displayed after putting the cursor on the question mark indicated on the screen.
   • If you want to use MD5 Signature Fields follow the instructions which will be displayed after putting the cursor on the question mark indicated on the screen. Otherwise uncheck the box.
   • If you decided to use MD5 Signature click the box and enter a Secret Word and then follow the instructions which will be displayed after putting the cursor on the question mark indicated on the screen.
   • Check the box if you want to fix the currency in which payments are made (i.e. the main currency of your shop)
   • Uncheck the box if you don’t want to receive emails for the error logs.
   • Click the box to enter the email address you want the error logs to be sent to. Note: Leave empty for the address to be Jigoshop email.

   2.9.3 FuturePay options

   

   • Check the box if you want to enable FuturePay.
   • The name of the method a client sees during checkout and appears as the Payment Method on final orders. To change the name triple click the box and enter a chosen name.
   • The description a client sees during checkout. To change the description triple click the box and enter a chosen one.
   • Click the box to enter the Merchant API Key provided to you by FuturePay.
   • Check the box if you want to enable FuturePay sandbox.

   2.9.4 PayPal options

   

   • Uncheck the box if you don’t want to use PayPal.
   • The name of the method a client sees during checkout and appears as the Payment Method on final orders. To change the name triple click the box and enter a chosen name.
   • The description a client sees during checkout. To change the description triple click the box and enter a chosen one.
   • Click the box to enter your PayPal email address.
   • Check the box if you want the shipping details to be send to PayPal
   • Check the box if you want to force payment of 0.01 if the product total and shipping are free.
   • Check the box if you want to enable PayPal sandbox.
   • Click the box and enter your sandbox email address. Note: Only if you enabled PayPal sandbox.

   2.9.5 Cheque Payment options

   

   • Uncheck the box if you don’t want to use cheque payment.
   • The name of the method a client sees during checkout and appears as the Payment Method on final orders. To change the name triple click the box and enter a chosen name.
   • The description a client sees during checkout. To change the description triple click the box and enter a chosen one.

   2.9.6 Bank Transfer options

   

   • Check the box to enable Bank Transfer.
   • The name of the method a client sees during checkout and appears as the Payment Method on final orders. To change the name triple click the box and enter a chosen name.
   • The description a client sees during checkout. To change the description triple click the box and enter a chosen one.
   • Click the box to enter bank name.
   • Click the box to enter account number.
   • Click the box to enter the name to which the account is registered to.
   • Click the box to enter branch Sort Code.
   • Click the box to enter IBAN number for international transfers.
   • Click the box to enter your Branch Identification Code.
   • Click the box to enter additional information you want to be displayed to your client.

   2.9.7 Cash on Delivery options

   

   • Check the box if you want to enable Cash on Delivery.
   • The name of the method a client sees during checkout and appears as the Payment Method on final orders. To change the name triple click the box and enter a chosen name.
   • The description a client sees during checkout. To change the description triple click the box and enter a chosen one.

   After choosing the options you want simply click the Save Payment Gateways Changes button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

   2.10 Web Optimization System tab

   Click the Web Optimization System tab at the top of the page to move to the Web Optimization System options. In this tab you can enable web optimization system and clear cache.

   2.10.1Web Optimization System options

   

   • Check the box if you want to enable Web Optimization System.
   • Check the box if you want to clear the cache.

   After choosing the options you want simply click the Save Web Optimization System Changes button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

3. Managing products and orders

   3.1 Adding a new product

   Click the Products button in the menu on the left of the screen, and then click Add New. You will be transferred to the following screen:

   

   Now you can start filling details of a new product. Let us begin with the name, description and an image:

   

   Enter the product’s name in the box at the top of the page and the description in the large box in the middle of the screen, and then click the Add Media button.

   You will be transferred to the following screen:

   

   Here you can choose what type of media you want to insert into the description as well as choose the image of the product which will be displayed on the product page. If you place the cursor inside the product description area and click on Add media the image/media will be inserted into to the description text in the cursor position.With using Create Gallery option you can choose multiple images to be inserted into the description in a form of gallery.

   After choosing a category in the top left-hand corner drop a file directly into the middle of the screen or click the Select Files button and choose a file from there. When you are finished click the “Insert into post” button in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

   You will be transferred back to the Add New product page; scroll down and you will see the Product Data configuration panel:

   

   Product types include:

   • Simple – no specific Product Type Options. Most basic product type.
   • Downloadable – can be downloaded by a client after a purchase.
   • Grouped – display several products on one page.
   • Virtual – a Simple product with no shipping fees charged.
   • Variable – allows a client to select different product options as a part of their purchase.
   • External/Affiliate – product which is offered on your website, but to purchase it, the customer will be transferred to the external/affiliate product page. Enter the external product page URL into the Product URL text box, and after clicking on the Buy button on your website page the customer will be transferred to the external product URL to complete the purchase.

   Choose the product type by clicking on the box indicated on the screen. Now you can move to the General Product Data:

   

   Choose the visibility of the product from the drop down menu, and then fill in all the other details by double clicking on the boxes:

   

   If you choose to put any of the products on sale (reduce the price), you can enter the sale price or discount amount as well as schedule the sale time frame by clicking on the Schedule link and choosing the dates.

   

   Now you can enter the dates of the sale by clicking on the boxes. After you entered all the General Data click on the Advanced tab indicated on the screen, you will see the following screen:

   

   Here you can choose the Tax Status by clicking on the box and choosing from the list, choose the Tax Classes, enter the weight and dimensions of the product by clicking on the appropriate boxes as well as choosing whether the product can be personalized and if yes than with how many characters.

   After you are finished click on the Inventory tab which is next to the Advanced tab, you will be transferred to the following screen:

   

   Here you can specify the Stock Status by choosing the right value from the list or check the box indicated on the screen and let Jigoshop handle it for you. If you check the box you will see the following screen:

   

   Enter the current Stock Quantity into the box indicated on the screen. The stock amount will be automatically reduced after a successful sale of the product and you will be notified when it will reach Low stock threshold specified earlier.

   Choose what your stand on backorders is by selecting one of the options from the drop down menu.

   After you are finished click on the Attributes tab which is next to the Inventory tab, you will be transferred to the following screen:

   

   If you want a product to have attributes click on the Add Attribute button indicated on the screen and enter a name of the attribute in the box indicated as well as a description in the box next to it. Note: You can add an unlimited number of attributes to any given product by clicking the Add Attribute button..

   Optionally you can create attributes by clicking on the Attributes button in the menu on the left-hand side of the computer screen under Products:

   

   Enter the Attribute’s name by clicking on the box, choose the type of the attribute from the drop-down menu and click Add Attribute button when you are done as indicated on the screen. Now you can choose the attributes created here from the drop-down menu in the Attributes tab:

   

   After you have finished click on the Grouping tab which is next to the Attributes tab, you will be transferred to the following screen:

   

   Here you can enter the Sort Order by clicking on the box and entering a number chosen by you.

   Now you can also add an Excerpt by clicking on the box indicated on the screen.

   Let us move to the menus on the right-hand side bar of the admin panel:

   

   By using them you can easily add a product to a category (Note: To learn how to create categories move to point 3.2 of this guide) by checking the box next to it, add Product Tags by clicking on the box, entering tags separated by commas and clicking the Add button when you have finished, or add a Featured Image without using the Add Media button.

   After you have finished scroll to the top of the page, you will see the Publish menu on the right-hand side of the computer screen:

   

   Now if you want, you can immediately publish the new product on your page by clicking the Publish button indicated on the screen. But it is generally a good idea to Preview it first by clicking the button in the top right-hand corner of the menu. Note: It’s also a good idea to click on Save Draft before previewing and publishing as some of the latest changes/settings might have been not saved and the product might be published in that state.

   

   If you do not want to publish the product immediately you can save it as a draft by hitting the Save Draft button indicated on the screen or choose the date of publishing by clicking the Edit button next to Publish immediately line, choosing the date of publishing and clicking the OK button. Additionally you can choose the visibility of the product by checking the appropriate option indicated on the screen.

   3.2 Creating a new category

   Click the Products button in the menu on the left of the screen, and then click Categories. You will be transferred to the following screen:

   

   Now you can start filling details of a new category. Enter the category name by clicking on the indicated box; enter the description of the category by clicking on the indicated box (Note: Not all themes display the description); you can add a thumbnail image of the category by clicking on the Change image button indicated on the screen.

   When you have finished click on the Add New Product Category indicated on the screen, you should see the new category displayed on the page:

   

   Note: Number of products added to each category is displayed in the Count column.

   3.3 Managing products

   Click the Products button in the menu on the left of the screen you will be transferred to the page from which you can manage your products:

   

   You can sort and display products using filters indicated on the screen or search for product using product name or keyword. You can also sort products by Price or creation Date, by placing the cursor over the column title and clicking on the small arrow which appears next to it.

   After you have found the product you were looking for simply move your cursor over it:

   

   A line of four buttons will show as indicated on the screen, now you can simply and quickly choose what you want to do with a particular product.

   • Clicking on the Edit button will transfer you to the page where you added the product.
   • Clicking the Trash button will delete the product.
   • Clicking the View button will transfer you to the Shop page on which the product is displayed.
   • Clicking the Quick Edit button will display the following menu:

   

   In this menu you can quickly apply changes to any given product by clicking on the boxes with information you want to change. After you are done click on the Update button in the bottom right-hand corner of the menu as indicated on the screen or click the Cancel button in the other corner to cancel all the changes and return to the Products list.

   3.4 Managing orders

   Click the Orders button in the menu on the left of the screen you will be transferred to the page where you can manage your orders from. It looks similar to the Products page:

   

   The list of colored links indicated on the screen represent different categories of orders, you can switch between them by clicking on the appropriate names, you can also filter the orders by dates by clicking on the box indicated on the screen choosing the month you are interested in and clicking the Filter button.

   If you want to see the details of an order simply click on the order’s name as indicated on the screen, you will be transferred to a page showing the details of that particular order:

   

4. Adding extensions

   Jigoshop offers many free and paid extensions which can improve you store functionality, in order to download them go to www.jigoshop.com:

   4.1 Adding a free extension

   

   • Move your cursor on the EXTENSIONS in the menu at the top of the page as indicated on the screen and choose the type of extensions you are interested in:
   • You will be transferred to a page displaying all the extensions in the selected category, choose the one you are interested in and click the View Extension button:
   • You will be transferred to the product page with detailed information about the extension, if you still decide to download or purchase it click the Buy Product button:
   • You will be transferred to a page from which you can download the extension into your computer, in order to do so click the button indicated on the screen:
   • After you download the extension go to your shop admin page and click the Plugins button in the menu on the left of the screen, and then click Add New as indicated on the screen:
   • You will be transferred to the Add Plugins page, click the Upload Plugin button as indicated on the screen:
   • You will be transferred to the following page, click the Upload Files button as indicated on the screen…:… and choose the extension file by double clicking it:
   • Now simply click the Install Now button as indicated on the screen:
   • You will be transferred to the following page, click the Activate Plugin button as indicated on the screen:
   • If everything went well you should see the new extension on the list of plugins in the plugins menu:

   4.2 Adding a paid extension

   • Follow the first two steps of Adding a free extension guide and then click on the Add to Cart button as indicated on the screen:You will be transferred to the following page:
   • Enter a coupon code, if you have one, by clicking on the box and click the Apply button as indicated on the screen otherwise click on the Proceed to Checkout button as indicated. You will be transferred to the following page:
   • Fill in all the required information by clicking on the corresponding boxes and entering the data, check the box indicated on the screen and click on the Place Order button as indicated. You will be transferred to the following screen:
   • You should receive an email from Jigoshop. Go to your mail box and open it:
   • Download the extension by clicking on the link indicated on the screen and then copy the Licence Key indicated on the screen.
   • Follow steps 5 through 9 from the Adding a free extension guide. Now you can move to step 7.
   • Click on the Jigoshop button in the menu on the left-hand side of the computer screen and then click Manage Licences as indicated on the screen. Click the box indicated on the screen and paste the Licence Key. Click the Save button as indicated.
   • Your extension should now be active. Click the Plugins button in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen you should be able t seen the newly bought and now active plugin on the list:

   4.3 Licence keys

   When buying an extension it is vital to provide Jigoshop with a valid email address.

   

   After you purchase an extension it will be visible in the My Downloads tab in the top left-hand corner of the jigoshop.com page as shown on the screen shot above. In the same tab you will have access to all the licence keys of every extension you have bought.

5. Themes

   Click the Appearance button in the menu on the left of the screen, and then click Themes. You will be transferred to the following page, here you can either choose from the default three themes or click the Add New button to choose a different theme:

   

   If you choose the Add New option you will be transferred to the following page where you can browse different themes using the search options indicated on the screen. After you choose a theme you want on your site you can preview it from

   

   this page or install it immediately by clicking the install button as indicated on the screen:

   You will be transferred to the following page where you need to click the Activate button as indicated on the screen:

   

   Now your theme is active and you will be transferred to the Themes page where you can click the Customize button on the active theme as indicated on the screen:

   

   If you choose to customize your theme you will be transferred to the following page where you can adjust the theme to your preferences using the options on the left-hand side of the screen:

   

   After you have finished simply click the Save & Publish button.

6. Jigoshop plugins

   Click the Plugins button in the menu on the left of the screen, you will be transferred to the following screen:

   

   Click on the box indicated on the screen and type Jigoshop you will be shown a list of all Jigoshop related plugins:

   

   Now you can either install a plugin right away by clicking the Install Now button as indicated on the screen or click the More Details button in order to be transferred to the following screen:

   

   If you decide that the plugin is what you are looking for simply click the Install Now button as indicated on the screen, you will be transferred to the following screen:

   

   Click the Activate Plugin button as indicated on the screen, if everything went well you should see the new plugin on the list of plugins in the plugins menu:

   

   After a successful installation of a new plugin you will have access to additional functions which are listed under the plugin name:

   

   If you click the Manage button you will be transferred to the following screen where you can perform all the listed actions by clicking on corresponding buttons:

   

   If you click on the Deactivate button you will not only deactivate the plugin but also be able to delete it altogether:

   

   If you click the Edit button you will be transferred to the following page where you can change the plugin’s code:

   

   Note: It is not recommended for novice users. If you want to make changes regardless click the Update File button after you are done.
