Moneris Direct US Gateway

This payment gateway for Jigoshop allows you to integrate online payment processing from Moneris, which is one of the largest payment processors for North America.

Operating since 2003, Moneris processes more than 3 billion credit and debit card transactions every year for 350,000+ merchant locations across North America, and employ 1,700 staff.

The Moneris Direct Gateway uses Moneris eSelectPLUS for payment processing. This allows you to accept payments by major credit cards in both Canadian and U.S dollars. It doesn’t require you to redirect customers to a Moneris page to accept payments as it uses their API to transmit details.

Features of Moneris include easy access to transaction reporting, instant order notification and anti-fraud tools such as Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, Address Verification Service (AVS) and Card Validation Value (CVV).

As always, to use a payment service, you’ll need to set up a Merchant Account. Moneris aim to respond within one business day of your application to get you up and running as quickly as possible.
