This plugin replaces Jigoshop’s built-in shop templates with its own Genesis-ready versions, specifically the `single-product.php`, `archive-product.php` and `taxonomy.php` templates needed to display the single product page, the main shop page, and Product Category and Product Tag archive pages. To allow easy customization of these templates, and ensure that you do not lose your customizations when the plugin is updated, you can place your own copies of these templates in your child theme’s ‘jigoshop’ folder and customize these copies as much as you like. You can also create your own `taxonomy-{taxonomy}.php` and `taxonomy-{taxonomy}-{term}.php` templates in the same location and this plugin will find them and use them to display your shop’s Product Category and Product Tag archives. The new Product Add-Ons extension allows you to add additional data fields to your individual product pages. That means you can add any field with a custom text title, and then allow customers to respond via a checkbox, select box or text input. So, for example, you may wish to allow customers to pick from a list of optional upgrades or accessories for a particular product, along with options to add custom text and personalisation. You can also set individual prices for each option, giving you a great way to up-sell to your customers as part of their initial purchase and not disrupt them during the checkout process. A free extension by Iain at Polevaultweb which allows you to set a simple initial shipping price for every product. The price can be reduced for multiple items up to a maximum number of products. So if you’re selling a product you can set your standard shipping price at £2, but have it drop to £1 for any additional product ordered up to a maximum monetary value.
