British vs US English

Feature suggestion: would it be possible to have a UK/US English selector in the settings, so that US developers can call the cart a cart, and British developers can call it a basket?

Use codestyling localisation http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/codestyling-localization/ and create a UK English translation.

    Thanks for the reply.

That plugin seems to have a problem with Jigoshop extensions - it will only let me review the .po file for the Upsell extension, and not the Jigoshop core file.

However I get the concept - I need an en_GB .po and .mo file, derived from jigoshop.pot, but with "basket" replacing "cart".

But where do I put that file once I've created it, to stop it being overridden when the plugin is updated?

You can send it to us and we'll commit it to the core.
