With the update (1.6.5) my product pages only show 1 column of products instead of 3. I've attached a picture of what it looks like now (the wrong way). Hope you can help. Thanks!

Did the same to me, absolutely smashed the pages that was using the shortcodes:

    yiw_latest_products
    yiw_featured_products

Had to wind back to a previous version of Jigoshop.

I'm having the same problem withe my featured products. They show up as a single item list down the home page. Also they have a bullet in front of each product picture and the detail and add to cart text no longer has a box around it. This all happened after I hit the update jigoshop button. I hope someone can help.

Hi, i'm one of the theme developers, this shortcodes are from our themes

    yiw_latest_products
    yiw_featured_products

i found in jigoshop.php this code on line 289

    if ( ! is_jigoshop() || is_admin() ) return false;

!is_jigoshop() does not allow us to use shrotcodes properly. The style is not loaded on the home page for example and there's not any hook/filter to change this behaviour.

    Hi guys,
Log out but DO NOT log back in. Then go to the shop page. Is the layout fixed?

    Hi there,
We've found the issue. We accidentally released the wrong development branch to WordPress. Do you guys know how to use an FTP program like Filezilla?

  12. 13 Posted by lacomb on 27 Apr, 2013 01:34 PM

    i do.

Ok cool. What you need to do this via FTP:

Go into the wp plugins folder at wp-content/plugins, and remove the entire Jigoshop's folder. Then unzip this and FTP that folder up there. Then rename the folder you uploaded from "Jigoshop 1-6-5" to just "jigoshop"

Good work! This fix the issue for me.

i am worried about losing information when doing this... i am worried about losing my product information..

can you go over this in more detail.

i am lost when you say:
FTP that folder up there. Then rename the folder you uploaded from "Jigoshop 1-6-5" to just "jigoshop"

    thanks

You won't lose data doing it this way. Thats we're using FTP to do it.

What part of that specifically are you confused by?

  20. 21 Posted by jack on 27 Apr, 2013 08:47 PM

when i delete the jigosop plugin. is the information that i have posted to my product. Is this information saved (just like when i change themes - the info is saved and i can moved to a different theme?

I think i get the part i was confused about... i FTP the new stuff and rename it back to just jigoshop... i think i got it :)

but, will my info be alright (i do not care about the settings in jigoshop i realize those will have to be put in again... i am just worried about losing my product info

The information about your products is stored in the database as is the settings.

As long as you remove Jigoshop by FTP this data is not lost. Again you must use FTP to do this.

Had the same issue with my website - www.mainestreetclothing.com www.pyramid.ws and www.rekitch.com - this update worked perfect for me. Now to fix the slider on my other sites.
