Core Contributors are considered well-versed PHP developers with significant experience who work on resolving potential bugs and making improvements to the core Jigoshop eCommerce plugin.

Requirements for Core Contributors

• Working knowledge of:
  • PHP7 object-oriented programming
  • WordPress and WordPress APIs
  • RESTful APIs
  • HTML5 and CSS3
  • Composer Dependency Manager
  • Gulp
  • Bower
  • Jigoshop eCommerce Internal Development Standards (IDS)
• Plugins already released on WordPress.org
• Code samples on Bitbucket/GitHub
• Previous experience of participation in any other open source project is not essential but would be a distinct advantage.

Approved Core Contributors will have access to all Jigoshop eCommerce extensions (up to 5 licenses) assuming that they have committed/confirmed at least 3 changes per month.
