Want to offer subscriptions to your digital or physical products via Jigoshop? Or add customers into membership groups based on their previous purchases? Jigoshop’s new Subscriptions extension allows you to set up recurring fees or free memberships which can be used to target offers and promotions.

The Subscriptions extension uses Group Membership as the way to manage these functions. Firstly you can sell access through subscription products, with an optional setup fee and recurring payments. Access can then be managed against the repeat payments from your customers.

Alternatively you can offer group membership to your customers when they buy a normal product, which then grants them access to that group via a single payment.

You’re able to manage and control group access and permissions to protect content and memberships can also be revoked through product purchases. Additional management includes the option to create new orders for recurring payments on active subsciptions for invoicing and record-keeping.

Within this extension you can set the timing for orders to generate new group membership, such as when their order is processing. You can also see details for every subscription along with payment status (including overdue and cancelled payments), plus create pages which are only accessible by members of a particularly membership group.

Subscription payments can be set via a flexible range of options for daily, weekly, monthly or annual, plus custom frequencies such as every 15 days or 3 months.
